At Little Havens, we are passionate about providing the best palliative and supportive care to improve the lives of those affected by complex or incurable conditions. Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center is a community-based, family-centered medical day care facility that offers reliable nursing care for children with a variety of medically complex needs. Our center is staffed with a multidisciplinary team of skilled Nurses, Physical, Speech, and Occupational Therapists and a Registered Dietician, all under one roof. We care for children and young people up to the age of 25 from Essex and the surrounding boroughs who have been diagnosed with a complex or incurable condition. – there are some services which we can’t rate, while some might be under appeal from the provider. Suspended ratings are being reviewed by us and will be published soon. At Little Haven, children with complex medical conditions can play and learn with peers in a safe nurturing environment, freeing their parents to work and/or attend school. Since the child will be receiving daily medical care, trips to the emergency room and doctor’s office should be reduced.

I consider my son to be in great hands because he is in a loving and caring environment. He has made a new friend, plays with his nurses and all their wonderful toys that stimulate him to learn and grow. To ensure equity of access all services are provided without fee. Including Symptom Management, Social Support, Respite Volunteers, Equipment Loan, Bereavement Care, Complementary therapies .... We work to ensure everyone affected by death, dying and bereavement gets the care and support they need, when they need it. Hospice UK is the national charity for hospice and end of life care.
Little Haven is a new and innovative company that has helped our son progress into achieving his developmental milestones through their tender care. We are eternally grateful for each of the wonderful nurses who have helped care for my son and my family. Little Haven came in a time when my son needed the most help, for that I am deeply grateful.
